Jane Hutt AM is the VWBN patron
About VWBN
The Vale Women's Business Network (VWBN) is a business networking forum in South Wales for the exchange of experiences and ideas between like-minded business women. Members bring a huge variety of skills; providing mutual help, support, encouragement and mentoring.

All business women who work, live, conduct business in, or have a connection with the Vale of Glamorgan are encouraged to join and take advantage of this diverse network of contacts.

Unless otherwise stated, our monthly networking events take place from 7pm until 9pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Cottrell Park Golf Club.

Network Patron
Jane Hutt, Assembly member for the Vale of Glamorgan, became the patron of the Vale Women's Business Network at our first annual Gale Dinner in 2002. VWBN is delighted to be in regular contact with Jane and is grateful for her ongoing support.

History
The VWBN was started by Praxis Training & Consultancy Limited as part of the Vale Women Business Owners Management Development Initiative (MDI), a project that was funded by the Welsh Assembly Government. The VWBN is now self-funded and operates entirely independently; with all membership fees and funds raised at events going towards room hire and running costs.

Administration
The VWBN is a voluntary network - so the organising and liaison is carried out by a voluntary committee of VBWN members, the 'Ideas Group', who give their time to cover every aspect of the administration. This ranges from arranging the events programme to recruiting members, organising publicity, helping to run monthly events and managing the website.

If you are a VWBN member and have some time to spare to get involved with the Ideas Group, or if you would like to be a featured speaker or a sponsor for an event, please contact us via members@vwbn.org.uk or speak to us on any meeting night!
