A taste of Wales
A great opportunity for VWBN members to network and showcase their products and services while enjoying a tipple. This event will be held in the beautiful Glyndwr Vineyard, Llanblethian - opposite the Cross Inn

More information:

I can now confirm that our Patron, Jane Hutt AM (Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning & Skills), will be joining us at Glyndwr Vineyard on Wednesday 18th November. (6.30 for 7pm please).

We are delighted - and this is a great opportunity for new Members to meet Jane who has been our supportive Patron since 2002. One of our big networking success stories from last year was a result of a VWBN gift to Jane. Our gift was a stunning photographic print taken by VWBN Member Anna Proctor. The result ...... an exhibition of Anna's work at the Senedd which will coincide with an event meeting next year!

So, back to this year! Our Taste of Wales Event is an exclusive visit to one of the finest vineyards in the UK. Nestled in the middle of the lush Rural Vale, Glyndwr vineyard is the oldest established vineyard in Wales, owned by Richard and Susan Norris, where they produce no less than 7 award winning wines!

This is an informal and relaxing social networking event, a chance to chat over a glass of Glyndwr vintage sparkling wine, followed by a tasting of all the award winning wines, nibble on canapés, and a chance to hear the story of how 6000 lovingly planted grape vines now produce an amazing range of truly outstanding wines!

At this event Members also have the opportunity to showcase their products. There is limited space left for this, please get in touch if you are interested.

The cost of this event is £15 per ticket and will include wine tasting and canapes. There will be no raffle at this event. Please let us know if you would like to book by Friday 13th November. This event is open to VWBN Members and their Guests only. Rebecca will invoice everyone who has booked so far (thank you!), and cheques can be sent to Rebecca or paid on the 18th. I have to say at this point that there are only about 12 places left so contact Rebecca at members@vwbn.org.uk to book as soon as possible!

See www.glyndwrvineyard.co.uk for more information about the location of this event.

Directions .... The Cross Inn is just outside Cowbridge on the road to Llantwit Major. If you pull in to the Cross Inn Car Park you will see a post box. Directly opposite is a the driveway (with a pillar either side), to Glyndwr House. There is plenty of parking and it is dry underfoot!   Glyndwr Vineyard, Llanblethian Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan CF71 7JFCall: 01446 774564
