Laura from Nalan Collection shortlisted for a Welsh Woman of the Year Award

We are pleased to announce that Laura from Nalan Collection has been shortlisted as a finalist for this year's Welsh Woman of the Year Awards. Here's what she had to say:

"I am a Cardiff based business women and last October I launched my own brand organic cotton clothing for children 0-4yrs, with my 2 children as inspiration. Nalan Collection and I have come a long way in our first 12 months of trading. We are excited about our nomination in the Prima magazine Baby&pregnancy Fashion Awards and I am very proud to have become a finalist in this year's Welsh Woman of the Year Awards; short-listed for the: "Most Effective Returner to the Workplace"; as the business was started following a 2yr career break in Thailand and a prior to that a successful career as a Mechanical Engineer (once holding the post of Vice-Chairman of the Young Memebers of the IMechE) - so the change of direction would not be an obvious one. "
