Moving with your Market

Most business owners and managers today find themselves working in an environment of constant change in order to satisfy ever changing customer requirements. On Wednesday 20 June 2007, South Wales business woman, Caroline Green will be providing advice to VWBN members on:
- how to recognise when change is needed in your business
- the types of changes that might help your business to move with the market
- how to understand your own personal response to change.

Caroline has over 10 years experience of working in customer-focused roles in blue-chip companies, and no stranger to changing environments and over time has developed a keen interest in the human impact of change. She founded the change consultancy, Insights For Business Ltd, in order to help businesses manage both their processes and people through change.

Caroline said, Change is one of the few things that are guaranteed to happen in life, whether we like it or not. Customers expectations change all the time and something that wows them one day will soon become expected as the norm. It is important that we are aware of how our market is changing and that we change with it, because if we are not prepared to change, our customers will.

Moving with your Market will also include former television presenter, Gail Foley who will speak about her career shift. Gail now wears a number of different hats including colour / makeover consultant and presentation skills trainer. The line-up includes other speakers who have ventured into new business opportunities and are reaping the rewards. Members who have any personal experience of this are invited to take part.

Through regular monthly events, the VWBN offers intending and existing businesswomen opportunities for exchanging experiences, support and practical solutions to everyday business problems. All VWBN events are opportunities for business networking in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
