Label Paris Europe Visit to Wales and the VWBN
International Womens Day was celebrated by the VWBN in partnership with the Womens Entrepreneurship Hub, Centre for Enterprise, University of Glamorgan, ADIEF and Advancia, the entrepreneurship school, Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The project links women entrepreneurs and business support organisations working with them in Paris, Athens and Cardiff.
Christine Atkinson, head of the Womens Entrepreneurship Hub, and Rebecca Exley, Director of Rebecca Exley Groundwater Ltd, were invited to represent the VWBN and speak at the Label Paris Europe Conference in Paris in October 2008.
This visit to Wales involved Francoise Van Weddingen from Advancia, Ruxandra Boros, a freelance consultant who lives and works in Paris, with 2 other additional women entrepreneurs from Paris.
As part of the visit was dedicated to meeting women entrepreneurs and business support providers, the VWBN hosted visits to the following in Cowbridge:
